Morning tour to the charming ancient town of Hoi An. This Ancient Town is an exceptionally well-preserved example of a South-East Asian trading port dating from the 15th to the 19th century. Its buildings and its street plan reflect the influences, both indigenous and foreign, that have combined to produce this unique heritage site. Visit former merchants’ homes, the 400-year-old Japanese Bridge and the colorful market place.

Overnight in Hoi An

Travel by road to Hue en route pass Lang Co a lovely stretch of beach continuing along the mountain roads which offer spectacular views of the coastline to Hue. This afternoon visit the Imperial Citadel, built in the early 19th century and modelled on the Forbidden City in Beijing. Visit the Hue Royal Fine Art Museum and Phu Cam Village to see how traditional Vietnamese hats are made from palm leaves.

Imperial Tomb of Emperor Tu Duc and Khai Dinh – the last monument of the Nguyen dynasty. Take a boat ride along the Perfume River and see the magnificent architecture of the Thien Mu Pagoda, regarded as the most beautiful of Hue’s pagodas.
