Early this evening you will be transferred to the railway station to board the overnight train to Lao Cai.

Early arrive in Lao Cai and stay two nights at the Jade Hill Sapa. Meet your driver and he will take you directly to the hilltop of Jade Hill Sapa. Upon arrival you will have breakfast while enjoying a 360 degree mountain view. Start walking into local area and experience the daily life of Red Dao minority people of Lech village, walking through rice paddy terraces gives you many opportunities to enjoy the magnificent valley view with rivers and local colorful farmers. In the village you will experience daily life while visiting a local house and here learn how minority women still master the old skill of embroidery. From the village, you walk back to the lodge.

Morning take another hiking or mountain biking tour to a Tay minority village of Ban Ho, located 600m below your bungalow deep in the valley. Here you can swim in the nearby waterfall and hear about yet another minority culture.

The rest of day at your leisure at Topas Ecolodge. You may spend the day to enjoy the peacefulness of this remote location, reading a book and taste a glass of wine at your private bungalow balcony. Overnight at Topas Ecolodge.

Enjoy breakfast at the lodge terrace few where you can enjoy the nature scenery and beauty of the rice fields. You check out and at 9h30 AM and the driver is waiting to transfer you to the starting point of this second walk. Today you will start out by crossing Muong Hoa River by a local bridge and continue walking along the rice paddies again on a route far from most other travelers. This is the area of the two minority groups of Giay and Black H’mong. Soon you will see the big difference in customs and traditions, where Giay prefer to dress in colorful silk whereas Black H’mong produce their indigo colored hemp wear themselves. Lunch will be served in a local village restaurant.

After lunch the car is ready to take you to the historical Sa Pa town famous for its minority market and old French colonial church. 5h00 pm transfer to Lao Cai for the overnight train.

Early morning arrival in Hanoi at approximately 06:00 hrs.
